Brave Volunteers from Tesco Hemsworth are doing a sponsored Sky Dive to raise funds for Age UK Wakefield District

We are really pleased to announce volunteers from Tesco Hemsworth are planning to do a sponsored Sky Dive this April at Bridlington to raise funds to support our services for older people in the Wakefield District.

Within our services we provide a Home Shopping Service to isolated older people who are unable to get out to the shops themselves.  In this service we work in partnership with local supermarkets who deliver the goods to people's homes.  Tesco Hemsworth is one of the supermarkets we work closely with and 3 of their amazing staff have volunteered to do the thrilling sponsored sky dive for our charity.

The event details are:

Date:

Saturday 27th April 2019

Time:

12 noon to 4.00pm

Venue:

East Leys Farm,
Grindale,
Bridlington,
East Yorkshire,
YO16 4YB

Man and woman

Lindsay Backhouse from Tesco Hemsworth says:

"We are three members of the Tesco Hemsworth team, we work with Age UK Wakefield District to ensure that isolated older people get their food shopping delivered, allowing them to stay in their independent in their own homes. We really hope you think this cause is as important as we do and support our skydive with a donation.

On Saturday 27th April we will be joining the fantastic team at GB Sky Diving to make our jump for Charity. We are hoping for good weather so we can enjoy the spectacular views over the coast."
