For many of us, home is where we feel most safe, comfortable, and in control. But for some older people, everyday challenges can make staying at home more difficult.

That’s where our Home Visits team comes in—funded by Skipton Building Society.

At Age UK Sheffield, our friendly team can offer advice and support directly in people’s homes, where it’s often easiest and most comfortable. Whether it’s help with a benefits check, advice on home aids, or small adaptations to make daily life safer, we’re here to make things a little easier.

Through simple changes and personalised support, we can help people feel more confident, secure, and able to live independently in their own homes.

In our latest video, our team members Eve and service user Kevin share how this support works in practice, and how it can make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll also hear from Kevin about his experience of being supported by Age UK Sheffield, and what it’s meant for him.
