Silver Sunday Soup Event Brings Community Together

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Silver Sunday Soup Event at Hillsborough Park.

The day brought people together to share food, conversation and community spirit. Whether you helped prepare the soup, enjoyed a warm drink, or simply stopped by for a chat, it was wonderful to see so many people taking part.

Silver Sunday is a national celebration of older people and the valuable contribution they make to our communities. The event also helps people connect, meet new friends and reduce loneliness.

A big thank you to our partners, Grandma's Soup, Sheffield Hallam University's Campaign to End Loneliness, Everyone Active, and Rock Choir for helping make the day such a success. We'd also like to thank all of the student volunteers and everyone who gave their time to support the event.
