Our Dementia Befriending Service will provide companionship to older people who are living with dementia. This service is for people with a confirmed diagnosis of dementia within the mild to moderate range, who are socially isolated and would like a companion.

'A dementia diagnosis can bring many challenges including feelings of loneliness and isolation and our service aims to combat loneliness and make people feel part of the wider community,' says Becky Bayne, who is coordinating the service.

This service is funded by Henry Smith Charity.
