This is just a quick email to inform you of our plans during this period of mourning for our dear Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

For the week, Monday 12th September to Sunday 18th September, all our services, shops and activities will continue as normal as we want people to come together and support one another.

On Monday 19th September, the day of the Queen's funeral, all our services, activities and shops will be closed to allow our teams to be with their family and friends.

A book of condolence is now available at the Jubilee Centre for people to sign. Those who do not have access to the internet can send handwritten messages or cards addressed to Chair of Age UK Bury, The Jubilee Centre, Mosley Avenue, Bury, BL9 6NJ. These will be placed in the book of condolence. Alternatively, you can sign the national online condolence book at https://www.royal.uk/

Now that the shock of our sudden loss is fading, I hope you find peace in the celebration of The Queen's life, and all that she has achieved for our country over the last seventy years. It is a tremendous record. Thank you Ma'am.

Best Wishes
