On behalf of the trustees, staff, volunteers and tutors at Age UK Bury, we extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.

Throughout her life, Her Majesty put service to her country first and foremost, inspiring many others to do the same. We will miss her enormously.

Our Services

During the period of mourning, our services, shops and activities will continue as normal as we want people to come together and support one another.

On Monday 19th September, the day of the Queen's funeral, all our services, activities and shops will be closed to allow our teams to be with their family and friends.

Book of Condolence

A book of condolence will be available at the Jubilee Centre for people to sign. Those who do not have access to the internet can send handwritten messages or cards addressed to Chair of Age UK Bury, The Jubilee Centre, Mosley Avenue, Bury, BL9 6NJ. These will be placed in the book of condolence.

Alternatively, you can sign the national online condolence book at https://www.royal.uk/
