From our Gift Box Appeal donators who brought in over 100 gift boxes, to young people like Lecsi who ran a Christmas Crafting Project to raise money for us, and those who gave in our Urgent Hardest Day Appeal, thank you for choosing Age Cyrmru Dyfed, you really are helpiing us be there for the over fifties in West Wales.
Lecsi's Christmas Crafting Project
We'd like to say a huge shout out to Lecsi for raising £160 for us in her Christmas Crafting Project! Lecsi, featured in this slideshow, made Christmas gifts to sell as well as Christmas cards to give to the elderly raising £160 for Age Cymru Dyfed. The proceeds will be put to good use!
Katie and colleague Claire who work for the Youth Support Services have been working with the youth of Bwlch Community Centre in Llanelli. Lecsi and other children in the community centre have been working on a Christmas project to help the elderly who were lonely around Christmas and those in care homes who don’t have family around them. Lecsi made Reindeer food to sell as well as Christmas cards to give to the elderly. All funds raised came to Age Cymru Dyfed.
