Age Cymru Dyfed has been awarded a major 3 year grant to support older veterans by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.

Age Cymru Dyfed and partner charity Age Cymru were recently awarded a 3 year grant to the value of £299,849 which will allow the organisation to develop an e-learning training package to transform the identification and support for older-Veterans across the statutory and third sectors.

This pioneering project has grown out of the work already undertaken by Age Cymru Dyfed’s veterans team throughout West Wales, drawing also on Age Cymru’s wider national footprint, and will be eventually be delivered throughout the UK.

Both Age Cymru Dyfed and Age Cymru are very grateful to the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust for support of this project which is named ‘Building Stronger Futures for Older Veterans.”
