Wales Air Ambulance Joins Age Cymru Dyfed' Veterans E-learning Programme

Age Cymru Dyfed is delighted to welcome Wales Air Ambulance to our Building Stronger Futures for Older Veterans e-learning programme, with an initial cohort of 100 participants set to complete the training.
This exciting partnership reflects our shared commitment to ensuring older veterans receive the understanding and support they deserve. The free e-learning course helps frontline professionals recognise the unique experiences of older veterans and equips them with the knowledge to provide more informed support.
Colonel (Retd) James Phillips, Trustee of Wales Air Ambulance and Veterans' Commissioner for Wales, welcomed the collaboration, saying:
"I am delighted that the Age Cymru Dyfed 'Building Stronger Futures' e-learning tool has been adopted by the Wales Air Ambulance Charity to help their staff better identify and support older veterans. As Veterans' Commissioner for Wales and a trustee of Wales Air Ambulance, I see this as a double win!"
The Building Stronger Futures for Older Veterans Team added:
"We look forward to supporting Wales Air Ambulance and its staff through this programme and to building a stronger partnership for the future."
The Building Stronger Futures for Older Veterans project continues to grow, helping organisations across Wales and beyond develop a greater understanding of the needs of older veterans and ensuring they receive the support they need when accessing services.
We look forward to working with Wales Air Ambulance as we continue building stronger futures for older veterans together.
