Kitchen Assistant Volunteer

 

Time and Day Required: Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 10.30am - 2pm

Minimum length of commitment: 6+ months

Report to: Activity Centre Manager

Role Overview: You will be supporting our dedicated kitchen team to prepare food, serve meals, and clear up afterwards. This involves setting the tables, following good food hygiene practice, and washing up. You will also be serving meals to Activity Centre visitors, which can be between 20 and 50 people per day.

Perfect for someone physically strong, proactive, and people focused. You’ll support food preparation, help with hosting and serving, and clear away with care and enthusiasm. An interest in food and good customer service skills are essential.
