Published on 24 June 2026 02:21 PM
Across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, our Befriending groups are creating welcoming spaces where over fifties can connect, socialise and enjoy.
These friendly sessions are designed to reduce isolation and build confidence through shared activities; whether a walk in fresh air, creative workshop, or simply a relaxed chat over a cup of tea.
Carmarthenshire: friendship, fresh air and friendly faces
In Carmarthenshire, a variety of weekly and fortnightly groups offer something for everyone. From Green Escapes, exploring scenic local spots, to Brew Buddies, where people meet in cafés and pubs for a chat, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and about. For those who enjoy staying active, Shake, Rattle & Stroll combines a gentle harbour walk in Burry Port with a well-earned cuppa afterwards. Creative minds can also join Crafty Crusaders at the Carmarthenshire Living Well Centre, featuring art, craft, and smartphone photography sessions on rotation.
