HOPE - Helping others participate and engage

HOPE is a partnership project between Age Cymru, Age Cymru local partners and Age Connects Wales partners throughout Wales. HOPE will deliver independent advocacy for older people (50+) and carers across Wales. 

The project is funded by Welsh Government under the Sustainable Social Services Grant until the end of March 2025.

Golden Thread Advocacy Programme

The Golden Thread Advocacy Programme was funded by Welsh Government for four years to run alongside and support the implementation of Part 10 (Advocacy) of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.

Dementia Advocacy

The Dementia Advocacy Project provides independent, professional advocacy support to anyone 18+ with a diagnosis of dementia.

Dementia Advocacy is funded by a Welsh Government grant until the end of March 2026.
