The Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is still affecting many aspects of life in Wales at the moment.
Age Cymru continues to strictly follow the Welsh Government Guidelines, postponing activities when needed and carrying out thorough risk assessments when we've been able to run activities. This has applied to all our exercise classes including Nordic Walking, Tai Chi, and Low Impact Functional Training (LIFT), Walking Groups and Walk and Talk.
Our Physical Activity Programme is currently up and running whilst keeping in line with the Welsh Government guidelines.
We advise all older people to follow the information provided by Public Health Wales and Welsh Government which is to maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene, particularly with hand-washing. Catch any coughs or sneezes with a tissue, or sleeve, and bin the tissue as soon as possible. At the same time avoid touching the face and shaking hands with others.
We'd like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers who've adapted so well and continued to offer such a valuable service throughout this difficult time.
