Leave a gift in your will

It's easy to continue supporting your favourite causes with a gift in your will

When we make our wills, we naturally want to make sure our loved ones are cared for. But through your will you can also leave something special to the many thousands of older people in the UK who have no one to turn to when times get tough.

I know that the gift in my will can help to make sure the next generation of older people will have someone who's there for them, just as my generation has. I also know that even after I'm gone, I'll still be supporting one of my
favourite charities.

A gift to Age UK in your will could make all the difference

When people decide to leave a gift in their will (sometimes called a legacy) to a charity they've supported throughout their lifetime, they can continue to help a cause that's close to their hearts.

You're completely in control of how much you choose to give. Whatever the size of your gift, it will make a huge difference to the older people we support.

How your gift could help

More and more older people are facing a later life they never expected – affected by long-term health issues, poverty or loneliness.

That's why Age UK is here. We provide clear, practical information and advice, campaign on the issues affecting older people, run services that offer support and friendship, and conduct research that helps to make later life better.

Your gift will make it possible for Age UK to continue being there for vulnerable older people in the years to come.

Your gift could help people like Bill

When Bill called the Age UK Advice Line, it was clear right away that he needed help.

He was living alone, and every day things like bathing and looking after his home were becoming a real struggle.

When he suddenly came down with a chest infection, he felt very vulnerable and didn't know what to do.

One of our expert advisers not only explained how Bill could get the benefits he was entitled to, but also what support was available in his area and how he could receive home visits.

Now, Bill finally has the support he needs.
