Calling all fundraisers!
We need YOU to do something amazing. With many of us staying at home, now's your chance to get involved, raise much-needed money and support vulnerable older people through the pandemic and beyond.
Challenge yourself, friends and family to reach your 10,000 steps a day. Challengers can donate to take part.
Ask friends to put together a tasty meal together from store cupboard staples and sit down together for dinner (via video conference of course!). Donate the cost of a meal out.
Put together a great playlist of all your favourites, invite friends for a video conference or get the household together, and dance the night away for Age UK!
How about donating the money you would have spent on your daily takeaway coffee to Age UK? Sure to get your fundraising full of beans!
Can you learn to play a new song on your guitar, or even pick up a new language? Ask friends and family to donate once you have smashed your challenge.
Host a virtual quiz night for Age UK! Ask for donations to take part and test your trivia with friends and family.
Give yourself a brand new look! Shave your head, cut your trademark locks, or grow it all out into a mullet! Ask friends and family to sponsor your hair-raising adventures.
Get the family in their finest, or ask colleagues to dress in their best whilst working from home. Everyone pays a pound to take part.
Dust off your board games and host a games night at home! Losers (or winners) donate to Age UK.
It's the simplest way to collect donations and let everyone know you're raising money for Age UK!

I’ve only been isolated because of coronavirus for a short while, and already I can feel the difference. I don’t generally get depressed, but with total isolation, being a carer 24/7 for my husband without any breaks or being able to go out anywhere, I think you could soon get very low. You can feel very alone. If it wasn’t for Age UK, I really don’t know what would happen.
Let your friends, family and everyone in between know about your lockdown fundraiser for Age UK! We've got badges to share on your social networks and emails to help you tell the world about your challenge.
