Locked down and lonely in the depths of winter, it’s no wonder so many older people are now saying ‘I don’t know how much longer I can cope.’ With your support, we can be there.
We campaign for the things that matter most to older people. That means saving free TV licences for the over 75s, or fixing our broken care system.
We make the Government listen up and hear the voice of a generation who can't always speak as loudly as everyone else.
But we can only continue to change things with your help.
1.5 million older people struggle each day without the right help and support. We're in the midst of a care crisis, but the Government is too distracted to listen.
The Government was wrong to transfer responsibility for the concession to the BBC and the BBC was wrong to accept it. We still believe that the TV licence should be free for all over 75s. That's why we're committed to holding the BBC and the Government to account.
Domestic abuse has no age limit. We're fighting for better services and support.
Tens of thousands of workers will not be able to go back to work because they still face a high risk from coronavirus. We're calling on the Government to introduce a furlough-style scheme for those who are shielding or high-risk and cannot safely return to work.
Big wins. Easy ways to make an impact. Sign up to the campaigns newsletter to stay in the know and use your voice for good.
