    • A research project and report produced by THIS institute and partners, aimed at collecting information about the kinds of visual systems used to identify patients in NHS hospitals across the UK with cognitive impairment and examining the practical, ethical, and organisational implications of the use of visual identifiers.

Older adults are at higher risk of infection and its severe consequences including indirectly, through increasing risk of other illnesses such as stroke and heart disease.  As the population continues to age, preventing and treating infections earlier and more effectively in older adults will become even more important.
