Age UK comments on the Government's Industrial Strategy

Age UK comments on the Industrial Strategy White Paper, which published today, includes a dedicated Grand Challenge on Ageing. The Grand Challenge will provide the chance for policy-makers, public and voluntary sectors to look at how we can respond to the challenges and opportnuities of ageing.
Caroline Abrahams, Age UK's Charity Director said:
'As the UK faces some of its biggest decisions over the coming years, we welcome the government’s recognition of the challenges and opportunities of our ageing society.
'The achievements of older generations have been crucial throughout our history. At Age UK, we look forward to working with policy makers and other organisations to ensure that their needs are properly considered in the future too.'
