Age UK South Tyneside has closed
Age UK South Tyneside has closed and transferred its services to a newly formed charity Age Concern Tyneside South (ACTS) on 31st August 2016.
ACTS has a new Board of Trustees and will be providing continued support to older people in the area. Although there will be a new name over the door of the office, older people will still see many of the same staff and volunteers around as they will be transferred into the new charity.
ACTS’ aim will be to provide an even wider range of services to older people in South Tyneside in the future, as an independent charity.
