About the film

Delving into a range a topics, including loneliness, bereavement, health and keeping active, Finding your feet - which features an all-star cast including Age UK ambassador Joanna Lumley OBE - tells the moving story of how lead character Sandra played by Imelda Staunton CBE, who - as she approaches her 60th birthday - transforms her life and faces the highs and lows that can come with getting older.

After discovering that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend, she seeks refuge with her estranged, bohemian, older sister Bif, played by Celia Imrie. Sandra couldn't be more different from her outspoken, serial dating, free-spirited older sibling, but when Bif drags her along to her community dance class, Sandra gradually starts finding her feet, her self-esteem.... and romance.

The film, which also stars Timothy Spall OBE, David Hayman and John Sessions, will be in cinemas from 23rd February 2018.
