Finding your feet

Age UK has joined forces with Entertainment One for the making and release of a new film, Finding Your Feet: a modern, uplifting comedy that highlights some of the challenges that can be faced in later life, while also showing that it's never too late to start again.

Delving into a range a topics, including loneliness, bereavement, health and keeping active, Finding your feet - featuring an all-star cast including Age UK ambassador Joanna Lumley OBE - tells the moving story of how lead character Sandra played by Imelda Staunton CBE, who - as she approaches her 60th birthday - transforms her life and faces the highs and lows that can come with getting older. When her sister drags her along to a community dance class, Sandra gradually starts finding her feets, her self-esteem… and romance.

The film, which also stars Timothy Spall OBE, David Hayman and John Sessions, is released on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital on Monday 25 June 2018.
