Fast Reply Rules

The following terms and conditions apply to the
Age UK Weekly Lottery Fast Reply Draws

  1. The Age UK Weekly Lottery Fast Reply Draws are promoted by Age UK Local Programmes Lottery CIC (company number 11335613) (the “Promoter”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Age UK (charity number 1128267, company number 06825798).
  2. The closing date for the Fast Reply Draws will be 14 days after the first qualifying response to each applicable promotion is received.
  3. Qualifying responses will comprise of a fully completed application to join the Age UK Weekly Lottery, using an Application Form which includes the pre-printed Promo Code for each promotion.
  4. The Fast Reply Draws will take place 5 working days after the closing date.
  5. The draw will be made utilising a random number generator that has been tested and approved by an independent third-party test house.
  6. The prizes will be one of 10 available £50 gift cards
  7. There are no alternatives to the gift cards awarded.
  8. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.
  9. Further Fast Reply Draw details, can be obtained by telephoning the Age UK Weekly Lottery helpline on 0800 849 8198 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, excluding bank holidays).
  10. The Promoter(s) reserve the right to use Fast Reply Draw winners’ names for promotional purposes. These will only be utilised in summary, e.g. Mrs Smith from Surrey.
  11. The Promoters may (without giving any reason or notice) decline to accept an application or terminate or suspend the scheme.
  12. The Promoter’s decisions made pursuant to these terms and conditions shall, once made, be final and binding.

Age UK, Tavis House, 1-6 Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9NA, registered charity in England and Wales (1128267), wholly owns three subsidiary companies, each of which promotes a society lottery to raise funds to support different areas of Age UK’s work for older people.

The three subsidiary companies, all registered at 1-6 Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9NA and also known as ‘Promoters’, are each licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission (www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk):

  • Age UK Information and Advice Lottery CIC Registered Company No.11335248, is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 52373; provides funding for information, advice and related services provided by Age UK and local Age UKs for older people in the UK.
  • Age UK Local Programmes Lottery CIC Registered Company No.11335613, is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 52413; provides funding for local programmes to assist older people – i.e. the work of local Age UKs.
  • Age UK Education and Research Lottery CIC Registered Company No.11372685, is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 52417; provides funding for research activities that advance education in relation to issues affecting older people in the UK.

The responsible person for all Promoters is: Laurie Boult, who can be contacted at the above address.

£1 per entry. You must be 18 or over to enter. Entries not to be sold to or by anyone under 18 years of age. All proceeds from the Age UK Weekly Lottery go to the relevant Promoter and all profits are donated to Age UK.

All the money from each Lottery ticket goes to that months designated area of support (Information and Advice, Local Programmes and Education and Research) the Age UK Charity then allocates the profits from these lotteries against that months area of support.

The % of proceeds raised and declared as profit from each of the society lotteries promoted in 2020 by each of the three subsidiaries and the likelihood of winning a prize, can be found on the Society Lotteries web page.
