"Despite its challenges, the charity has had an extremely positive year. One of our key achievements this year has been the move of our remaining staff from 50 Lower Hall Lane to our new registered charity address at 200 Rookery Lane, Aldridge, WS9 8NP.
These offices provide a second accessible location for service users with both plenty of on-site parking and disabled access. Although most staff based at Aldridge are often out and about on home visits, we regularly have service users dropping in for general enquiries who welcome having this second location within the borough.
These new premises are extremely cost effective with a supportive landlord and provide a welcome relief from the pressures of the Grade II listed building we had worked in for years and all the problems such properties bring with them!"
Davina Lytton, Chief Officer, Age UK Walsall
