people 'experience' bereavement, rather than 'suffer' bereavement (as everyone's experience is different). It is fine to talk about someone as being bereaved

brackets
use brackets for acronyms the first time you use them eg National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Don't put lots of text in brackets - it's difficult to read
